February 13, 2009                            My Life             My name is Gatluak Duop Dieth, the meaning of my name is”  Hut” it was where you could keep your cattle. It made up with  grass since our people were still backward. They have been using  the grass to built where they would live and their cattle. My father  had been finishing his Hut and I was born with in the same year.  He calls me that name because it would be his recognition for hard  work he did finish his Hut. He would never forget that years.       My father had four wives and he was a great leader began from  his family. He used to tell me that leadership was began from your  family and carried it to the people. Because when you did not care  for your family. How would you care for other people? I’m from   Nuer tribe in South Sudan. I was born in April 4, 1971, in the  Village call Jingmir, it was locate in South East Nasir in South  Sudan. It was 25 miles away from Nasir town.        My father died in April, 1980, he was lay to rest in Jingmir.  When he was buried, his body was buried in side the house. Because it show that he was a great leader, and he would not be  buried in any place rather than house. I Started my education in  1984, in Jingmir Presbyterian Church. I learned Nuer language  and some of an English Alphabets. I was concentrated to learn  Nuer very well, of course I did it. In  April 1985, I came to Itang  Refugees Camp in Ethiopia.         I started my education again in (Bathe town). Both English  and Nuer. I was working very hard it was in the Presbyterian  Church. In July 1987, I passed with Ethiopian Enterance  Examination (EEE). Which would determined you that, you would  be ready for Junior level. In 1989, I passed to Gambella  Secondary School. Which was 9th grader to 10th. During over  threw of Mangestu Hailemariam in 1991. He was a president of  Ethiopia. I went to 11t in Western Illubaboor called Bonga  Secondary school. In 1992, I left Ethiopia and came to Kenyan  Refugees Camp Walda. Then I moved to (IFO Camp) in Kenya. In August 26, 1993, I came to United States as the Refugee. I continued to pursue my education. I went to Seminary call  Christian Life School of Theology (CLST), it was January 1996. In May 1998, I graduated with my Associated of Theology. I  received my Bachelor of Theology in 2000. In 2002. I completed my Master of Theology and I was ordained on Nov 10, 2002. I  earned my “Master of Divinity” (M.Div.). I had receive my two  Diplomas of Micro Computer and Network Computer. From the  Tennessee Technology Center at Harsville. I attended “River Land  Community College” in Minnesota.        I was married my lovely wife Mary Nyadhan Mangok, in  January 1998. She comes to United States in Dec 12, 1999. God  bless us with our beautiful children and I always admired her. She  was very sincere women I never known. I was a founder of a “  Sudanese Christian Community Church (SCCC). In February 16,  2003, in Gallatin, TN. It was my first Church I Pastor. I am  working now to get my doctorate of Theology( TH.D). I love to  Learn so much.
